It has been 5 years since the late great Felix Dexter passed away. Felix was loved by many and he touched many with his wonderful gift for both comedy and drama.. To commemorate him, we at The Felix Dexter Foundation would like to invite you to an evening to commemorate and update on the work of his Foundation.
Trustees Yvonne Wilson & Ian Thompson visited the Island of St Kitts & Nevis in March 2017 to meet with the Education Ministry and Cultural Ministry respectively in order to set up an Education Bursary on behalf of the late Felix Dexter who had left a legacy donation of £40,000 to further provide educational and welfare assistance to young people from underprivileged and vulnerable backgrounds at secondary school level.
We are pleased to announce the Basseterre High School in St Kitts & Nevis has been awarded the first Felix Dexter Education Bursary for 2017-2018.
We are honoured to announce that the Felix Dexter Foundation will be working with the BBC to develop a writing bursary for two people to write, create and develop ideas over an 8-month paid writing experience/traineeship.
